Planning / Procurement of food, non-food, liquors items etc. required by the company in the outlets.
Implement procurement strategies in tune with organisational objectives.
Identifying and developing potential vendors / suppliers for achieving cost effectiveness;
Keep abreast of new technical developments & recommend substitutes/alternatives for any product/items in case of non-availability.
Develop new & alternative sources of supplies to ensure timely, cost effective & quality product availability.
Oversee the assessment of the performance of vendors on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery etc
Devise cost saving measures & modifications to achieve substantial reduction in terms of logistics cost, warehousing cost, raw material.
Ensure timely purchase of materials to increase inventory turns while minimizing inventory.
Responsible for planning & implementation of cost reduction initiatives within the supply chain.
Co- ordination with Vendors. Negotiate with Vendors.
Keeping a regular follow up with the suppliers for readiness of the material against our purchase orders.
Find new vendors & improving services of existing vendors.
Maintaining records of dispatched & received materials & maintains stock records.
Handing over documents to finance for billing purpose.
LOGISTICS AND IMPORTS:
Ensure procedural formalities for import, verification of statutory documents, trade licenses, ensuring rules and procedures are adhered to in accordance with the provisions of laws.
Interface with the user department and suppliers on day to day logistics activities. Identify system & tools to increase efficiency in inventory management.
Ensure that reliable and accurate logistics costing and data analysis.
Training to all storekeepers in the outlet.
Perform cost/price analysis and negotiate with the manufacturers/suppliers to Obtain the best prices and credit terms.
A degree in a finance related course with a minimum of 5 years
Should be a local candidate, and have experience in hospitality industry
Should be familiar with all the taxes norms and statutory liabilities in Lagos
Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Receivable, payroll processing
Strong verbal and written communication and strong organisational skills
Must possess leadership and supervisory skills abilities
Knowledge of pre opening and projects will be an added advantage
